Hardware Electrical Engineer on our team will be a key contributor to developing New Eagle ECU and electronic products for our customers.  Additionally, the Hardware Engineer will support customer projects and New Eagle ECU product portfolio development.  The roles and responsibilities of the Hardware engineer are but not limited to the following.

Essential Duties:

  • The electrical engineer is responsible for the design, development, and testing of electrical hardware based on the electrical architecture and requirements
  • Participate, and support design reviews, Worst-Case Circuit Analysis, DFMEA, fault tree analysis, and FMEDA activities for electrical hardware
  • Research, identify, size and analyze, and select electrical components for projects incorporating various control module applications
  • Verify electrical requirements at component and bench level testing
  • Diagnose and execute root cause analysis throughout the product life cycle

Required Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of professional engineering experience in hardware product design
  • Experience performing worst-case circuit analysis, fault tree analysis, and FMEDA
  • Strong functional safety background that can take Functional Safety technical requirements to hardware design.
  • Strong understanding of electronic circuit design principles, schematics design, layout design, and design for EMC
  • Experience any of the following tools: Altium, Mathcad
  • Experience with product launch cycles and APQP

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience performing worst-case circuit analysis, Fault tree analysis and FMEDA.
  • Ability to take Functional safety technical requirements to hardware design.
